Your Des-T-Nation

Des-T-Nation Inc. India is not an organization; it is not a business establishment or not a travel agency. This is a dream child of couple of people who love to travel, or rather who love to travel in India. Here we will not promote any tour or travel operator, we will promote India’s natural beauties and its vastness. From Hills to Sea, from greenery to desert, from lagoon to backwater India has everything. There are still many yet to be explored places in India, so why not explore them.
Recent market trends reflect that we are more going outside of India for a holiday. Why not here in India? India has everything so why to fly abroad?
We, Des-T-Nation Inc. India will try to promote tourism of India in this blog. We with our limited scope and resource will try to give information about some places in India, which can include a much known place or a yet to be fully explored place in India.
Please note that this is our first blog writing, so we welcome all the suggestions, criticisms and feedback.
Our journey will start from smallest Union territory of India, Lakshadweep (or Laccadive).

  1. To the couple of people( Rimidi and Sourav da) who dreamt, who conceived the idea and who brought this idea on real life, i salute you two for this wonderful
idea of flashing India and its different corners which are still to be explored by the world.
From your daily busy corporate schedule, it's great that you two have initiated and have started this great blog.
It will be a great opportunity for every one of us to know about nick-knacks of India and its hidden parts; specially to the foreigners( if you can promote this blog)
who till today thinks India as a place where only snake charmers stay.
Some of the places have really put themselves on the big rack by different promotional agencies.Kerala has done a great job of marketing itself as a tourism destination.
Goa is pretty good at it too. So is Rajasthan. Unfortunately, most of the other states have floundered.
Now today with this initiative of yours, other states and cities can showbiz them on the big screen.
As the main objective of your blog is to promote tourism in India, there are 2 very critical parts of marketing a destination( just a small suggestion from me; as Mr. Sourav had asked...jz kidding:-P).
First goes the product and second its communication ovbiously. For Kerala, the product is "its natural beauty- the greenery"and it is being being beautifully communicated by different Ad's and also other websites by its coconut tress, its ayurveda treatment along with boats sailing in between green forests.
For Goa, the product is again " its natural beauty- the beaches with chilling out party hubs". And that too is communicated awesomely not only by agencies but also in different movies. For rajasthan, again the product is" its beauty- the desert and royalty with the pink city Jaipur adding to its vibes".

Now today as you 2 are starting your journey with lakhswadeep, i wish you all the great luck so that you can sail up everyone's dreamy mind straight to the destination by your sketchy descriptions and portray of the place.
Last but not the least, after Lakshwadeep, put Tripura and Fulia also in your blogospere; which are still the places question marked by many as if they dont exist on earth:-)

    1. Obviously Tripura will be one. To some people Tripura is some place in Bangladesh or some district of Assam. Need to put it as early as possible.
